Glycolic Acid-Based Fabric Cleaner - Patented Formula
GLICO - Acidic Highlighting Fabric Cleaner for Interiors
GLICO is an innovative fabric cleaner based on glycolic acid, perfect for removing inorganic residues, mineral deposits, dust, and mixed stains from seats and floor mats. It is gentle on surfaces, leaves no residues, and restores both color and softness to fibers (the "Fluffy" effect). Its standout feature is the Luminol effect, which reveals stains invisible to the naked eye. Thanks to its acidic pH, it can also be used as a rinsing aid in injection-extraction systems, eliminating surfactants and streaks. GLICO is an essential part of Labocosmetica’s 2pH interior cleaning cycle, used in combination with DÙCTILE.
What is GLICO?
GLICO is a cutting-edge glycolic acid-based fabric cleaner—the same acid used in cosmetics. It is the first patented product of its kind, designed to effectively remove inorganic and mineral residues, dust, and mixed dirt from seats and floor mats. During application, its "Luminol" effect highlights hidden stains, making pre-treatment and cleaning more efficient.
What Does GLICO Do and How Is It Used?
GLICO is ideal for removing stubborn stains and mixed dirt, delivering deep and thorough cleaning. It is especially effective at eliminating surfactant residues and streaks left by alkaline cleaners, restoring the original look of treated surfaces.
With its “Fluffy Effect,” GLICO revives color and softness in fabrics, giving them a fresh, clean feel. It also detects invisible grime, boosting overall cleaning performance. Perfect for surfaces affected by sweat, dead skin, limescale, or road salt, it helps keep materials protected and well-maintained.
Is GLICO Safe?
Absolutely yes. GLICO is safe for all interior materials, including:
- Alcantara®
- Fabric
- Plastic
- Leather
- Metal

- Kevlar
Thanks to its acidic pH, it can be used as a final rinsing step to eliminate alkaline residues without damaging any surfaces.
